Wolfe County News - June 20, 1956

NINE-WEEK ILLNESS CLAIMS D.B. PENCE	

Daniel Boone Pence, 96, retired farmer, died at 6:45 on June 14th at 
the home of a nephew, W.T. Norman, at Licking River after a nine weeks 
illness.  He was a member of the Christian church.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted at the Hearne Funeral Home, Campton, at 
two p.m. Saturday, June 16th.  Burial was in the Pence Cemetery, about 
five miles from Beattyville.
