DEATH CLAIMS W.N. NICKELL, COUNTY NATIVE	

Word was received here this week of the death of William Neal Nickell, 
who died in Omaha, Nebraska June 9th at the age of 69.  He was a former 
student of Hazel Green Academy in 1905-1906.  He resided in Council 
Bluffs, Iowa for many years.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, June 12th at the W.P. Swanson 
Chapel, Omaha, Nebraska and Interment was in Forest Lawn cemetery.

His wife, the former Grace Tallman of Council Bluffs, died several 
years ago.  Nickell was a retired machinist on the Union and Pacific 
Railroad.  He was a member of Excelsior Lodge F. and A.M. of Council Bluffs.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Naomi Anderson, Omaha and Mrs. 
Patricia Davis, Stuart, FLa; a son, Raymond of Omaha; seven brothers, Ree, 
Ren, Ed, Flim, John, Charley, and Kelly, and one sister, Molly, all of 
Ohio and five grandchildren, Ed, Flim and Kelly attended the funeral.
