MRS. CHILDERS, WIDELY RELATED GOES TO REWARD

Mrs. Maggie Childers, age 80 died at the home of her daughter in 
Winchester on Jan. 2, Wednesday.  Funeral was held at the Scobee 
Funeral Home in Winchester on Saturday, Jan. 5, 1952, with Rev. Chapel 
of Mt. Sterling and Rev. Fox of Winchester officiating.  Burial was in the 
Winchester Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Edwin Holt, Paul Childers, Garret Childers, Dewey 
Crow?, Omer Turpin and Joe Reed.

She is survived by three daughters, and three sons, Mrs. George Holt, 
Campton, Mrs. Frank Hart, Mt. Sterling, Mrs. W.H. Carroll, Winchester, 
Shirley Childers, Sheperd, Mich; Pryce Childers, Johnson City, Tenn, and 
Pritt Childers of Winchester.  Also 8 grandchildren.  She was preceded 
by her husband in death several years, (J.H. Childers, Husband)

She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Aleck Shepherd of Wolfe 
County, and was a member of the Methodist Church.
