WOLFE COUNTY NEWS  Nov. 17, 1954

HEART ATTACK IS FATAL TO WOLFE NATIVE

Ben Hollon, 51, of Middletown, OH employee of Armco Steel Corp, who 
worked in the open hearth department for 20 years, died at 1:40 p.m. 
Monday at Middletown Hospital.  Mr. Hollon suffered a heart attack last 
friday while on duty at the mill and was taken to the hospital.

He was a native of Wolfe Co., Ky.  Mr. Hollon was born on December 20, 
1902, the son of George W. and the late Mollie Taulbee Hollon.  He had 
resided in Middletown and vicinity for 32 years and was a member of the 
First Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Sarah Jane; one daughter, Sharon Lynn, at home; 
his father , George W. Hollon; Landsaw; one brother, Sterling Hollon, 
Middletown; five sisters, Mrs. Elsie Sewell, Georgetown, Mrs. Flossie 
Cundiff, Landsaw; Mrs. Clemma Profitt, Dayton; Mrs. Barbara Rose, 
Eldorado, O.: and Mrs. Stella Rhoades, Lebanon.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. thursday at the 
McCoy-Leffler Fuenral Home.  Rev. John Parr of the First Baptist Church, officiated 
with the Rev. Howard Sears of Grace Baptist Church, assisting.  Burial 
was in the Woodside Baptist Church.
