Wolfe County News - April 21, 1954

ROBERTS RITES SET FOR TODAY

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, April 21 at ten o'clock 
in the Church of God, Hazel Green for Henry Roberts, 46 who died in the 
West Liberty Hospital on Monday morning about five.  Burial followed in 
the Hazel Green cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertie Roberts, and three daughters: 
Deloris, Joyce, and Lois and a son, Billy, all at home in Hazel Green.  
Also his mother Mrs. Mary Roberts, Hazel Green; five brothers; 
Harrison, Dayton, Ohio; Charles, Detroit, Mich; George, Battle Creew, Mich;
 Arnold, who is in service and some where overseas and Claude, Hazel 
Green.  Also three sisters; Mrs. Tom Steele, and Mrs. Wilford Rose of 
Dayton, OH and Mrs. Charles Burkhart, Franklin, Ohio and numerous other 
relatives and a host of friends.

Henry Roberts Dies

Henry Roberts, who has been working in Middletown, Ohio came home for 
the week-end and was taken to the West Liberty hospital with a 
hemorrhage from stomach ulcers, and died there early Monday morning.  He is 
survived by his wife and four children.
