Wolfe County News - Jan. 1956

Mrs. Ida Rose Sample, 80 died Thursday, January 19 in Maysville 
Hospital where she had been a patient for about two years.  She was married to 
Charles A. Sample who preceded her in death many years.  She was the 
daughter of the late Joseph P. and Nancy C. Rose.

She is survived by one son, William Sample, Morehead, a daughter, Mrs. 
Nancy King, Colorado Springs,  Colo, one grandson Tommy King and a 
brother, Dorsey C. Rose of Hazel Green.

Funeral services were conducted at the First Methodist Church, Morehead 
with Dr. Gabriel Banks officiating.  Burial was in the Mt. Sterling 
Cemetery beside her husband.
