FUNERAL RITES CONDUCTED FOR MARY A. TRENT

Mary Ann Trent, age 70 died at 9 a.m. at her home near Beattyville, 
Friday, May 4th.  She was a member of the Big Andy Baptist Church.  She is 
survived by her husband, Clifford Trent, Beattyville; one daughter, Mrs. 
Artie Irene Powell, Miamisburg, Ohio, seven brothers, Jesse Whisman, 
Campton, John, San/Sam? and George Whisman, all of Franklin, Ohio, Edgar, 
Frank and Fred Whisman all of Middletown, Ohio also five sisters, Mrs. 
Callie Rose, Campton, Mrs. Myrtle Henry, Ezel, Mrs. Lula Whisman, 
Beattyville, and Mrs. Martha Morris, Franklin, Ohio.

Also two nephews whom she reared, Lonnie and Jimmie Knox both of 
Dayton, Ohio.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Zoe Church of 
God with Rev. Willard Brewer, officiating.  Burial was in the River View 
Cemetery, Beattyville under the arrangement of B.F. Porter and Son, 
Funeral Home.
