Obituary: South, Orene (Salley) - Monday, November 10, 2008

Orene South, 94, High Street, widow of Weldon South, died Monday,
November 10, 2008. She was born April 22, 1914 in Wolfe County, daughter
of the late Robert and Maddie Byrd Salley and was a member of the Order
of the Eastern Star in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mrs. South is survived by a
son, Robert Jerry South, Paris; two grandchildren, Wendy (Jeffrey)
Wright, Paris, Steven (Torie) South, Raleigh, NC; and three great
grandchildren, Bonnie Wright, Alex Collins, and Lukas Collins, all of
Paris. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 14, at the
Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Gary Huffman with burial in the Hazel
Green Cemetery in Wolfe County. Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m.
Friday.
