Obituary: O'Hair, Robert - Tuesday, January 20, 2009 Published in The Middletown Journal on 1/22/2009 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** O'HAIR, Robert age 87, of Middletown died Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at 12:20 p.m. in Atrium Hospital, Middletown. He was born in Campton, Kentucky on December 1, 1921. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Jane Ross O'Hair, two brothers, Chester and Bernard O'Hair and two sisters, Opal Hollon and Mary Lemley. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Asiatic Pacific Theater in World War II and was awarded the Bronze Star. He married Mary Kiser on May 23, 1953 in Middletown and was employed at Cincinnati Gas & Electric for 35 years. He is survived by his wife, Mary, a son, William O'Hair and wife Norma, a daughter Lynn Hines and husband Bill Hines, all of Middletown; a brother, Hobert O'Hair of Trenton, sisters, Sarah Hollon in Campton, Kentucky and Vivian Hollon in Hazard, Kentucky; four grandsons, Michael O'Hair of Fort Gordon, Georgia, Patrick O'Hair of Roy, Utah, Christopher and Thomas O'Hair, both of Middletown and two step- grandsons, Bill Hines of Casa Grande, Arizona and Ben Hines of Winter Park, Florida. Visitation will be Friday, January 23, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Breitenbach McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home, 517 South Sutphin Street, Middletown, Ohio 45044 with funeral services following at 2:00 p.m. Officiated by Rev. Don O'Hair. Burial will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
