Obituary: Whisman, Britt E. - Sunday, February 1, 2009 Published in The Middletown Journal on 2/3/2009 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** Whisman, Britt E. age 61, of Middletown, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2009 at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born January 12, 1948 in Hazel Green, KY to Glen and Opal (Warmouth) Whisman. He was Business Development Manager working for McGraw Kokosing Construction for 36 years, retiring in 2003. Britt was a member of Solid Rock Church and enjoyed bass fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents. Britt is survived by his wife of 8 years Linda Whisman; sons, Britt (Robin) Whisman, Chris (Suzanne) Whisman both of Germantown, Jason Whisman of Trenton, Shane (Sherry) Whisman of Miamisburg, Dax Whisman, Chris James both of Hamilton, John James of Cincinnati; daughters, Tisha Whisman of Trenton, Amy (Jared) James of Middletown, Tia Whisman of Trenton and Jenny James of Cincinnati; 15 grandchildren and sister, Glenna (Jerry) Morris of Trenton. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 4, 2009 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be Thursday, February 5, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Dexter Terrell officiating. Entombment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
