Obituary: Hobbs, Betty Jo (Combs) - Sunday, December 21, 2008 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** HOBBS, Betty Jo, 81, of Middletown, passed away on Sun., Dec. 21st at her residence. She was born on March 25, 1927 to Courtney & Grace (Tyra) Combs. She lived for over 50 years in the Middletown area and was a Homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 42 years; Bobbie Hobbs, and a brother; J.C. Combs. She is survived by her two daughters; Wendy (Matthew) Hobbs-Tackett and Sonja (Earl) Patton and a grandson; Jimmy Rose. Betty Jo was a wife, mother, grandmother and friend, an Angel on Earth who will be sadly missed. Visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 26th from 6:00-8:00 pm at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 27th at 10:00 am with Rev. Roger Green officiating.
