DEATH CLAIMS OCTOGENARIAN IN POWELL

Mrs. Demira Lee, age 82, died August 7, two weeks following the death 
of her husband.  She died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Everett Ewen, 
Stanton.

She is survived by four other daughters: Mrs. Essie Roberts, Clay City; 
Mrs. Sally Combs, of Warren, Ohio; and Mrs. Hattie Chapman, Norfolk, 
Va.  Also four sons: Noah Lee, Clay City; Virgil and Tommy Lee, both of 
Wolfe County; and Ernest Lee of Middletown, Ohio.

Funeral services were conducted at Hearne Funeral Home, of Stanton, on 
Thursday afternoon, August 9, with Rev. Forest Drake officiating.  
Burial was in the Jamison Cemetery at Sandy Ridge, Wolfe County.
