She was born October 2, 1932 in Wolfe County, KY to Frank and Grace (King) Brewer. She was an office worker for Mercy Hospital of Hamilton for 20 years. Minnie was a member of the Church of Mayfield. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Minnie is survived by her husband, Ernest L. Hampton of 57 years; sons, Rodney (Doreen) Hampton, Roger (fianc? Phyllis Kahn) Hampton both of Middletown; daughter, Pam (Bill) Back of Carlisle; 5 grandchildren, Chris, Melissa, Nikki, Billy and Bobby; 2 step-grandchildren, Brian and Heather Butt; 5 great-grandchildren, Chris, Kirstie, Andi, Samantha and Claire; 2 brothers, George Brewer and Dale Brewer both of Cincinnati; 2 sisters, Agnes McIntosh and Lucie Brewer both of Cincinnati. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 19, 2009 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, March 20, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Church of Mayfield, 3311 Burbank Avenue, Middletown, Ohio 45044 with Rev. Rick Woodward officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
