Obituary: Patrick, Wilma (Oldfield) - Thursday, April 16, 2009 Published in The Middletown Journal on 4/18/2009 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** PATRICK, Wilma Oldfield of Hazel Green, KY, formerly of Middletown, OH, departed this life Thursday, April 16, 2009, at her residence, at the age of 91 years, 5 months, and 14 days. She was born on Friday, November 2, 1917, in Morgan County, KY, daughter of the late Luther and Nora Blankenship Oldfield. Wilma was united in marriage to Herschell Patrick on August 6, 1954. She was a retired Clerk at Dohns Hardware Store in Middletown, OH. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herschell Patrick; and four brothers, Vernon Oldfield, Austin Oldfield, Ralph B. Oldfield, and Delwar Oldfield. She is survived by one brother, Lester Oldfield and wife Pat of Hamilton, OH; three sisters, Josephine Cole of Ezel, KY, Virginia Oakley and husband Kenneth, and Betty Nickell all of Hazel Green, KY; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 19, 2009 at the Potter Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Frisby and Bro. Bobby Hollon officiating. Burial to follow in the Oldfield Cemetery, Hazel Green, KY.
