Obituary: Mitchell, Ida Nell (Buchanan) - Thursday, March 12, 2009 Published in The Middletown Journal Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** Mrs. Ida Nell Buchanan Mitchell, age 83, of Middletown, Ohio Formerly of Hazel Green, KY passed away Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Atrium Medical Ceneter.She was born September 14, 1925 in Hazel Green, Kentucky; daughter to John Beverly and Ethel (Johnson) Buchanan.Ida was a homemaker and a member of Hazel Green Christian Church.She was preceded in death by her parents; John Beverly & Ethel Johnson Buchanan, husband; Marvin L. Mitchell in 1998, 2 brothers; George W. "Jack" Buchanan and Kenneth Buchanan.Ida is survived by children, Elaine Croake and John Mitchell both of Middletown, Ohio; brother, Roger Buchanan; grandon, Dan Croake and many nieces and nephews.Funeral sevices will be conducted at 11:00 am Monday, March 16, 2009 at Hazel Green Christian Church in Hazel Green, Kentucky. Interment will follow at Hazel Green Cemetery.Visitation will begin at 10:00 am Monday, March 16, 2009 at Hazel Green Christian Church.
