FUNERAL RITES CONDUCTED FOR MRS. ROSE, 64

West Bend, KY - Mrs. Sarah Jane Rose, 64, wife of Algin Rose, West 
Bend, died at 4 p.m. Monday, August 24, at the Clark County hospital, 
Winchester after a long illness.  She was a member of the West Bend 
Methodist church.

Other survivors include a son by a former marriage, Clarence Combs, 
three brothers, Sam Roberts, Valeria; Green Howard, Winchester and Dewey 
Roberts, Middletown, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Lula Holland, Richmond; 
Mrs. Vinia Norman, Middletown, Ohio, and Mrs. Helen Combs, Georgetown, 
Ohio.

Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the West Bend 
Mthodist church by Rev. Walter Strong, the Rev. J.C. Everman and the 
Rev. Claude Shimfessel.  Burial was in the West Bend cemetery.  
Pallbearers were Melvin Rose, Courtney Lawson, Jr., Mason Brandenburg, Jim Rose 
and Jimmy Clark.
