WOLFE COUNTY NEWS - March 18, 1953

MAURICE ARNETT, 38 DIES SUDDENLY AT CAMPTON STORE

Maurice Horton Arnett, 38 son of Harris Arnett of Campton and the late 
Nora Arnett, died suddenly Thursday night at the Harris-Allen lunchroom 
in Campton.  He has been employed in Dayton, Ohio for several years but 
has been visiting his father the past week.

He is survived by his father, three sisters; Mrs. Mildred Birchfield, 
Pomeroyton, Mrs. Kathleen Pelfrey, Dayton, Ohio, and Mrs. Jean Smith of 
Cincinnati; four brothers,Randal, Victor and Austin Arnett all of 
Dayton and Charles Arnett of the U.S. Air Force in New Jersey.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. H.G. Murrell at the Methodist 
church at 10:00 am.m. Sunday and interment was in the Evans Cemetery.
