She was born December 23, 1939 in Campton, KY to Lester and Martha (Smith) Hatton. She was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents: Lester and Martha Hatton; husband, Kenneth Adkins in 2002. Marcella is survived by 3 sons, Wendall (Dorothy) Adkins, Kenny "Slim" Adkins, Jr. and Rick (Connie) Adkins; grandson, Ricky (Charity) Adkins, II; great-granddaughter, Alexis Lynn Adkins; brother, Fred (Sharon) Hatton, Lester Hatton; sisters, Lucille (Arnold) Nickells, Ada Shelton, Janet (Don) Eversole, Carolyn Welch. Visitation will be held Friday, October 16, 2009 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 9:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
