Obituary: Pelfrey, Maudie J. (Stidham) - 2009 Published in The Winchester Sun 2009 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** Maudie J. Pelfrey, 75, passed away at 8:50 p.m. Thursday at Central Baptist Hospital. A native of Wolfe County, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Bertha Barnett Stidham. Mrs. Pelfrey was a homemaker and attended the Christian church. Survivors include three sons, William R. Pelfrey, Micah Pelfrey and Jason (Glenna) Pelfrey, all of Winchester; six grandchildren, Staci Brown, Jennifer Pelfrey, Christopher Pelfrey, Latisha Bandy, Sheri Pelfrey and Joseph Bandy; two great-grandchildren, Keaton and Aylah Brown; four sisters; two brothers and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Scobee Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery. Visitation will be 10a.m. to 11a.m. Tuesday.
