Obituary: Hollon, Isaac - Friday, February 21, 1947 The Jackson Times - 1947 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** PROMINENT WOLFE FARMER SUCCUMBS Funeral services were held at 11:00 Tuesday morning for Isaac Hollon, 87, prominent Wolfe county farmer and landowner, who died at his home at Hollonsville in that county about 3:30 Saturday afternoon. The services will be held at the home with the Rev. John Dalton and Rev. Henry Hall officiating. Burial will be in the nearby Terrill Cemetery. The body was brought to the Ray and Blake Funeral Home here, the firm being in charge of burial arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Belle Terrill Hollon whom he married more than 62 years ago, and several nephews and nieces. Although Mr. and Mrs. Hollon had no children of their own, they took six into their home and reared them to manhood and womanhood.
