G.W. SPENCER DIES IN WOLFE

Campton, Ky - George Washington Spencer, Wolfe county farmer, died on 
Sunday, Feb. 15th at the age of 85 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. 
D.L. Brewer of Pine Ridge.

Other survivors include his sons: S.J. Spencer, Rogers, W.H. Spencer, 
Slade: Robert I. Spencer, Jackson, and Clell Spencer, Campton; and 
daughters, Mrs. M.P. Bryant, Rogers; Mrs. Edward L. Kemper, Mrs. W.R. 
Arnold, Mrs. Lafayette Carmine, Mrs. George F. Minde; Mrs. Jack Coats, all of 
Lexington; and Miss Myrtle Spencer, Panama Canal Zone.

Funeral was held Tuesday, February 17, at the Rogers church with 
Willard Brewer and Willie Taylor in charge of the service.  Burial was in the 
family cemetery at Rogers.
