MARSHALL RITES HELD FRIDAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Lou Marshall, 82, were held Friday, April 10,
with Rev. R.B. Baker of the Beattyville Baptist Church officiating.

Mrs. Marshall, the daughter of the late Jack and Susie Landsaw Pence was
born in Wolfe County and was a member of the Baptist church.  She was
the wife of the late David Marshall.

Mrs. Marshall whose death occurred April 8, after an illness of about a
year, is survived by three children and one brother.  The children are
Mrs. Susie Bogg of Louisville and Jack and Frank Marshall of
Beattyville.  The brother is Boone Pence of Wolfe County.

Burial was in the family cemetery with King Justice Funeral Home in
charge.
