Obituary: Allen, Grace (Taulbee) - Sunday, April 27, 2008 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** Grace Allen of Campton, beloved widow of the late William Victor Allen, Sr., departed this life Sunday, April 27, 2008, at the age of 86 years, 9 months and 16 days. She was born July 11, 1921, at Campton, Kentucky, to the late John and Dulcie Cundiff Taulbee. Grace was a retired employee of the Middle KY Child Development Program. Survivors include two sons, William Victor Allen, Jr., and wife, Sharon of Louisville, and Rocky Allen and wife, Sandy of Campton; one daughter, Marilyn Taulbee and husband Scott of Georgetown; one daughter-in-law, Rose Staton, of Stanton; nine grandchildren, Jimmy Allen and wife, Debbie, Rodney Allen and wife, Terri, Debbie Collis and husband, Bill, Dawn Mancini, Brian Allen, Rocky Allen, Cindy Lawson and husband, Steve, Jeff Staton and Cassie Griggs and husband, Brian; eleven great grandchildren, Christina, Conner and Bennett Collis, Emily and Haley Allen, Stephen and Timmy Lawson, Jacob Allen, Cheyenne Brodie, Shelbie Grace Staton, and Brik Tyler Griggs; her caretaker, Sue Crownover; a host of other relatives and friends; and a special little companion, Angus. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Eddie Ray Allen; one daughter, Loretta Allen; 4 brothers and 1 sister. Burial in the Evans Cemetery, at Campton, with Porter and Son Funeral Directors, of Campton in charge of arrangements.
