LIFE ENDS FOR MRS. SPENCER         

Remains shipped to Wolfe County on Monday Morning for Interment In the
Family Burying Ground

Mrs. Polly P. Spencer age 64 years, the wife of D.F. Spencer of Hill
street died on Sunday morning about nine thirty o'clock from pulmonary
Tuberculosis.

Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, and one daughter, one
of her sons is now stationed at Camp Taylor having been enlisted in the
service for several months.

She has many relatives residing in eastern Kentucky, the family having
moved here only a few months ago.  The remains were shipped to
Glencarin, Wolfe county, on Monday morning for interment in the family
burying ground.

Polly P. Spencer age 59 years, 4 months, 7 days born Nov. 7, 1860
Breathitt County the d/o Owens Miller and Matidla Puckett d. March 14,
1920, buried in the Tarridge Graveyard.  Informant: D.F. Spencer of
Winchester

Doctor Franklin Spencer age 67 d. Sept. 17, 1935 Clark County of Cancer
of the colon and liver, the son of Franklin Spencer and ? [Louisa] Wyatt
buried in Wolfe County.  Informant: George ? Spencer of Athol, KY.

Note: Polly and D. F. Spencer are said to be buried in the Tar Ridge
Cemetery in unmarked graves.
