Obituary: Larger, Lorena - Monday, July 14, 2008 Published in the Dayton Daily News on 7/16/2008 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** LARGER, Lorena age 77 of Kettering, passed away Monday, July 14, 2008 at her residence. She was born on March 9, 1931 in Wolfe Co., Kentucky to the late William and Maggie (Birchfield) Helton. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Ed Turner; second husband, Norbert Larger; brothers, Shiloh, Woodrow, John Henry and Andrew Helton; sister, Mary Peck; and daughter-in-law, Mary Jane Wenclewicz. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Maxine and Gilbert Spencer; step-sons, Marvin Larger and Norbert Christopher Larger; and several nieces and nephews. Lorena retired from the Inland Division of General Motors. She was a wonderful sister and very much loved. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2008 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Interment in Arlington Cemetery in Brookville. Her family will receive friends from 12 noon until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
