ROSE DIES IN WOLFE COUNTY Charles Wellington Rose, 82, father of South Rose of Beattyville, died at his home in Lee City, Wolfe county, Wednesday, January 8 following an illness of some time. A native of Owsley County and a resident of Wolfe county for the past 60 years, Mr. Rose was a merchant at Lee City for a number of years. For the past 20 years he had devoted his time to farming. Funeral services were conducted at the home Saturday morning by Rev. Frank Press Wilson. Burial was in the family cemetery near the home. He is survived by five sons, Bruce Rose of Daysboro; Luther Rose of Owensboro; South Rose of Beattyville; H.C.
