She was born in Wolfe County, KY to Fred and Golden (Handy) Stamper. She was an aide at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village for 28 years and Food Delivery for Senior Citizens. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clester Ray Brewer in 2003; sister, N. Lyrue Bailey. Lora is survived by her daughter, Diana (Robert) Moore of Trenton; 2 grandchildren, Dana Moore of Trenton and Jason Moore of Middletown; 1 great- granddaughter, Courtney Moore of Trenton; brothers and sisters, Walter Eugene (Laura) Stamper, Ula (Louis) Busby both of Middletown, Dannie (Wilma) Stamper of Trenton, Freddie Stamper of Franklin, Sterling (Beverly) Stamper of Williamstown, KY and Virgle (Cindy) Stamper of FL; brother-in-law, William L. Bailey of Carlisle and many nieces and nephews and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, October 6, 2008 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Kenny Brewer officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Middletown Area Senior Citizens, Inc., 3907 Central Avenue, Middletown, Ohio 45044. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
