Luke, age 73 of West Liberty, Kentucky of Hwy 3345 West Liberty,Ky passed away Sunday October 19,2008 at her home after an extended illness. She was born September 30, 1935 in Wolfe County, Ky daughter of the late George Hollon & Bertha Watkins Hollon. She was a member of the Korea Church of God in Wellington, Kentucky and was a retired Morgan County Middle School Cook. She was preceded in death by her husband Johnnie T. Luke and one granddaughter Andrea Perkins and one sister, three brothers, one half brother and two half sisters. Surviving is two daughters and sons-in-law; Mary & Richard Stacy and Rachel & Gerald Stevens of West Liberty, Kentucky. Two sons and daughter-in-law; John V. Luke of Ezel, Kentucky and Mark & Dolores Luke of West Liberty, Kentucky. Four sisters; Rosline Stevens of Lexington, Kentucky; Eunice Owens of Nicholasville, Kentucky; Angela Taylor of Massachusetts; Wilma Hatton of Campton, Kentucky; one brother, Kenneth Hollon of Lexington, Kentucky. Eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday October 22, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Rev. David Hale officiating. Interment will follow with burial in the Luke Family Cemetery, Pomeroyton, Kentucky. Visitation will begin after 6:00 PM Tuesday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, Kentucky. Honorary Pallbearers: Garrett Bates & Hayden Shockey. Active Pallbearers: Gerald Stevens, Richard Stacy, Justin Luke, Gary Bates, B.J. Shockey & Ray Adkins.
