Obituary: Smith, Talbert - Monday, April 21, 2008 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** SMITH, TALBERT, Age 67, passed away Monday, April 21, 2008 after battling heart disease for over 18 years. He worked hard as a mechanic at Citrus Central for 25 years and is a member of Victory Baptist Church in Ocoee. When he retired he devoted his life to being the best father anyone could ever ask for, to watching his grandchildren play sports, and to watching Nascar. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Clifford and Betty Smith, and his grandson Corey. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Sharon Smith; children, Talbert Jr. (AL)Greg, Richard, Darrell, Jeff, Shelia, and Regina (FL); grandchildren, Tony, Derek, Jessie, Amanda, Suzie, Jenn, Kristin, Bobby, Shania, Madison, Brittni, Zoey, and Brooke; and five great grandchildren; brothers, Jim (FL), Clifford (GA), William (SC). He was the center of this huge family and will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him. Visitation will be held on Thursday April 24, 2008 from 6-9PM at Collison Funeral Home, Winter Garden. Funeral services will be held on Friday April 25, 2008 at 5PM also at the funeral home.
