Born in Wolfe County, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Bessie Elkins Neff. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Kennon Taulbee; two sons, J. Scott (Marilyn) Taulbee of Georgetown, KY, and Tony Taulbee of Lexington, KY; one sister, Shirley Holland and husband Gene of Austin, TX; one brother, Gene Neff of Trent, KY; one sister-in-law, Pamela (George) Pilgrim of Campton, KY; two nephews, Steve Holland of Austin, TX and Anthony (Kerri) Neff and son Harrison of Lexington, KY; three nieces, Kim (Steve) Austin and children Ilysa, Trammel and Quincy of Michigan; Gina (Phil) Howard of Seattle, Washington and Suzy (Keith) Blalock and son Blake of Jacksonville, FL; one step-grandson, Jeff Staton of Lexington, KY; one step-granddaughter, Cassie (Brian) Griggs of Georgetown, KY; one step-great grandson, Brik Griggs; one step great-granddaughter, Shelbie Staton. She also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1pm Thu, May 22, 2008 at Porter & Son Funeral Directors Chapel in Campton, KY. Visitation will be Wed from 5-9pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Wayne Moore, Anthony Owens, Benji Coleman, Steve Holland, Anthony Neff and Deweese Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be Ken McKnight, George Pilgrim and all of her nieces and nephews.
