Obituary: Taulbee, Dorothy (Armstrong) Gentry Rogers - Monday, June 23, 2008 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** Dorothy Gentry Taulbee, 80, of 701 Chandaland Lane, wife of Howard Taulbee, passed away at 9:17 AM Monday June 23, 2008 at Winchester Center for Health and Rehabilitation. A native of Clark County, she was the daughter of the late William Reffitt and Nora McGuire Armstrong. She was retired from GTE Sylvania. Additional survivors include three sons and three daughter-in-laws, Jerry and Margie Rogers of Clark County, Jimmy and Barbie Rogers of Clark County, Virgil and Rhonda Rogers of Clark County; two daughters and one son-in-law, Vada and Lonnie Eversole of Clark County, and Mary Dyer of Clark County; five stepchildren; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; eight step grandchildren; fourteen step great grandchildren; and several nieces and cousins; special longtime friend Emma Reffitt. Preceded in death by one granddaughter, Chanda Rogers. Services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Thursday June 26, 2008 at Scobee Funeral Home by Rev. William Morgan and Rev. Janice Claypoole. Burial will be in Clarmont Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Steve Dyer, Chad Rogers, Craig Rogers, William Rogers, Ben Wright, Josh Gentry. Honorary Pallbearers will be Freddie Rogers, Larry Lawson, Gary Lawson, Mike Lawson, Larry Taulbee, Scotty Taulbee, A.C. Reffitt, Emma Reffitt, Frances MacKenzie, and Nettie Willoughby. Visitation will be from 5-8 Wednesday June 25, 2008 at Scobee Funeral Home. Memorials may take the form of contributions to Hospice East.
