Wolfe County News - Sept. 7, 1955

LENGTHY ILLNESS PROVES FATAL TO MRS. BREWER

Mrs. Florence Brewer, 70 wife of Buddy Brewer, Beattyville, Route 2, 
died at her home on Friday afternoon, Sept. 2, at 2:30 o'clock after a 
long illness.  She was a member of the Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband she is survived by six daughters; Mrs. Grace 
Bird, Greenfield, Ohio; Mrs. Jane Frye, Lexington, Ky.; Mrs. Ruby 
Taylor, Malaga, Ky.; Mrs. Edna Brown, Dayton, Ohio; Mrs. Bonnie Chotkouski, 
Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Pauline Tucker, Dayton, Ohio; also three sons, 
Bill Brewer, Malaga and Ray and Reed Brewer both of Beattyville, Ky.

Funeral services were conducted at the Hearne Funerall Home, Campton, 
Sunday afternoon at two-thirty p.m. and Rev. J. Edward Cunningham 
officiated.  Burial was in the Evans Cemetery.
