Obituary: Copas, Lucy Frances (Hurt) - September 3, 2007 Clay City Times Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** Lucy Frances Copas, 61, Wellington, widow of Larry Gene Copas died Sept. 3, 2007 at her residence. She was born Feb. 17, 1946 in Perry County, the d/o the late Josie Trent and the late Odie Hurt. She was a housekeeper. She was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Ray Hurt. She is survived by two sons, Robert Helton of Wellington and Billy Helton of Stanton; one step-son, Larry Joshua Copas of Indiana; two daughters, Linda Welch and Gaye Renea Helton, both of Wellington; a brother, Odie Hurt of Wellington; sisters, Irene Allen of Williamsburg, Ohio, Loraine Bowman of Campton, Hazel Jane Cox and Christine McPherson, both of Wellington, and Anna Jean McCoy and Emma Agee, both of Frenchburg; two step-daughters, Debbie Jean Hill of Pinkney, Mich., and Rosemary Rudd of Ezel; 14 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren. Burial in the Copas Family Cemetery.
