Hollon, 65, of Dry Ridge, formerly of Bourbon County, died Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at the home of a son here in Paris. He was born Saturday, October 11, 1941 in Wolfe County to the late Arlie and Emma Lee Drake Hollon. He was a supervisor for MPW,an Army veteran and a Christian. Carl will be remembered forhis love for his children, being a hard working man and U of K Basketball. He is survived by his wife, Shanda Lynn Walker Hollon of Dry Ridge; four sons, Randall (Vickie) Hollonof Lexington, Richard (Julie) Stanfield of Paris, Joshua (Marie) Walker of Corinth and Michael Walker of Dry Ridge; two daughters, Jessica Walker of Parisand Cynthia Hollon of California; three sisters, Mary (Clarence) McIlvain of Mt.Sterling, Mable Gilman of Georgetown and Dora (Bobby) Paul of Paris; his mother-in-law, Marilyn Walker of Paris; 11 Grandchildren and two Great-Grandchildren. He is preceded indeath by his parents, Arlie & Emma Lee Hollon; eight brothers and sixsisters. Funeral services willbe 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 28 that the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home withburial to follow in the Evergreen Memory Gardens with Military Honors. Rev. Sandy Sanders will officiate. Visitation for Carl will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Memorial gifts may go to the American Cancer Society. Daniel Herrmann, Cody & Randall Hollon, Paul Ralph Jones, T.J.
