Obituary: Connelly, Agnes (Russell) - Thursday, November 29, 2007 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** Agnes Russell Connelly, 85, of Horseshoe Drive, Paris, died Thursday, November 29, 2007 at the home of her daughter, Joyce Morrison in Cocoa, FL. She was born Sunday, October 15, 1922 in Baptist, KY to the late Clarence and Anna Whisman Russell. Agnes was a former Secretary for the West Carrollton Parchment Co. and the New York Central Railroad. She was a member of the WMU, American Legion Auxillary, the 917 Naval Auxillary and the First Baptist Church of Paris. Agnes loved life. She so enjoyed traveling the U.S. and the world. She loved going on trips to the ocean and collecting shells. She was an outgoing person who loved people and appreciated good food. Her passion was for gardening and when they had the farm she loved her flowers and taking care of the animals. She is survived by her husband, Lewis E. Connelly of Paris; one daughter, Joyce A. Morrison of Cocoa, FL; a sister, Irene Pelfrey of Campton; five brothers, Lee (Patsy) Russell of Salt Lick, Lawrence (Jean) Russell of Mt. Sterling, Elbert (Charlotte) Russell of Salt Lick, E.M. (Shelby) Russell of Miamisburg, OH and Byrl (Debbie) Russell of Morehead; one grandson, James Johnston of Port St. Lucie, FL and one great-grandson, James Johnston, Jr. She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, John & Bobby Russell. Funeralservices for Agnes will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 6, 2007 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home by Rev. Don Reed, with entombment in the Evergreen Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 6 to 8p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. James Johnston, Larry Johnston, RogerTaylor, Lawrence Russell, Billy Caudill&Dave Miller will serve as the Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Fheldon Connelly, Lee, Lawrence,Elbert, E.M. & Byrl Russell.
