Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** Schumacher, Norma Jean (Dykes) Age 80 of Franklin, Ohio and Mesa, Ariz. passed peacefully at the Hospice of the Valley in Mesa on Oct. 7, 2007. She was surrounded by loved ones. Jean, as she was affectionately known to family and friends, was born in Helechewa , Ky. to Rev. James and Dora (Barnett) Dykes. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and 5 sisters; and her loving son Robert Cantrell, who passed on Aug. 26, 2006. She is survived by her devoted husband of 47 years, Stanley; daughters Beverly Koewler (Kenny) and Kim Schumacher (Fred); son William Cantrell (Judy); granddaughters, Rebecca Marken (Tony) and Megan Vanover; grandson Tyler Vanover; 2 great granddaughters, Ava and Tess Marken; and 2 sisters, Nell Thompson and Eloise Whitt. Her memorial mass will be celebrated at Holy Trinity on Sat., Oct. 20 at 10 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Woodside Cemetery.
