Charles W. Allen, 49, Lexington, native of Breathitt County, retired
plummer d. Nov. 24 at the Central Baptist Hospital,
 
Mr. Allen was the s/o the late Edgar Allen and Evalee Taulbee Allen.
 
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Brown Allen, Lexington.  Two daughters:
Lisa Duff, Middletown, Ohio; Cheryl Williams, Middletown, Ohio.  Two
brothers: Lee Allen, Campton; Edgar Allen, Jr., Vancleve.  Three
sisters: Irene Overbee, Lexington; Paula Nelson, Louisville; Phyllis
Carpenter, Jackson.  Three half-brothers: Willie Allen, Isom; Herbert 
H. Allen, Middletown, Ohio: Elzie Allen, Middletown, Ohio.  Two
half-sisters: Adene Stephens, Peebles, Ohio; Mary Futner, Corbin.  Four
grandchildren.
 
Burial was in the Field Branch Cemetery, Vancleve, with Porter and Son
Funeral Home, Campton, in charge of arrangements.
