James R. Turner, died in 1934 at age 89.  The obituary in the Scott County paper stated that the funeral took place at Long Lick Baptist Church and he was buried in the Family graveyard.  This is in northern Scott County.  He was born in Owen County and spent most of his adult life in Scott County.  He died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Adams of Long Like Pike.  If anyone has any information on the above situation it would be greatly appreciated.
