I am  looking for Asa Smith, born abt. 1793 in Scott County, Kentucky.  He married "Hannah" Jane Finkland or her maiden name may be Ficklin.  Asa Smith's father, I believe is Berryman SMith.  Does anyone know if Berryman is a family name belonging to the Smith line?  This line of Smith's removed to Fountain County, Indiana.  Asa and Jane Smith had a daughter , Ellen, in Kentucky before moving to Indiana.  Ellen Smith married Andrew Jackson Wray in Fountain County, Indiana.  Any help with this line will be greatly appreciated.

Would like to establish contact with persons searching the Mason and Hill families.  Am suffering from the burned courthouse syndrome.  Mr Charles Henry Mason married Mary Jane Hill 1837.  The 1850 census shows him as a woolcarder.  No further record in Scott County; but it is believed to have died with his wife of Cholera in the 1850's.  Their sons included; William Mason, John N. Mason and Charles Henry Mason, who married Sarah Ellen Glass, daughter of Andrew J. Glass of New Columbus, Owen County, Kentucky.
