Looking for
information on Sharon family of Scott County, Kentucky. Benjamin Sharon
and Elizabeth Cox were parents of John Sharon. Help, where can I co next
in Scott County. John died in Bourbon County, Kentucky and Elizabeth Cox
died in Scott County, Kentucky, September 17, 1946. My grandfather
was Arthur Oliver Sharon, born May 25, 1892, died September 1979. His
wife was Margaret Mason, and his father was John Sharon, born March 5, 1858,
died March 28, 1928 (wife was Florence Estes) and Benjamin Sharon may be
his father. Does anyone know whether this is true? I have information

I am interested
in the ancestors of Nancy Smith Brewer, who married Thomas Brewer in 1834
in Hancock County, Illinois. Nancy was in Scott County, Kentucky for
some reason in 1844, when she had a son, Allen Brewer. This was the
only child that was born in Scott County. Is it possible that she was
visiting relatives in Scott County, Kentucky? If any one has a thread
that might connect to this Brewer/Smith line, please drop me a line and maybe
we will be able to share date.
