Nathan Thomas Cannon, born abt. 1842, died March 6, 1917.  I have learned he was born in Kentucky and lived in Georgetown with John and Hester Cannon.  According to this source, he had one brother, Henry and two sisters; Amanda and Emily.  I hope someone can confirm this for me. I have N.T.'s CSA services record.  He was an Ensign with Company A 2and Kentucky Infantry - Orphan Brigade.  Nathan Thomas settled in Georgia when his unit surrendered in Washington, May 6, 1865 and was buried in Westview Cemetery, Augusta, Georgia.

Looking for information on James S. Branham, born about 1785 Virginia.  He married Elizabeth Osborn, born about 1790 Kentucky.  They had at least three children born in Scott County; (1) Charles B, 1811; Permelia R. 1811 (3) Rebecca W. 1827.  Does anyone know who James S. Brahham's parents were?  Several Branhams of the right age were residing in Scott County in 1811, but I have never found any information on which one might have been his father.
