Is anyone
researching Dunn family in Scott and Harrison counties? I have some
connected infomation on Jack Dunn and his wife, Maggie Dungan and their children.
Jack had a brother named Kelly (1822-1964), who married Sudie Smith
(1885-1979). Kelly and Sudie are buried at Raven Creek Cemetery in
Harrison County. Also have lots of unconnected information on various
Dunn's buried in and around Scott and Harrison counties. Would be glad
to share what I have.

Seeking
information on Robert Ellis, who was a police officer in Georgetown, Scott
County in the 1920's or 1930's. He was accidently shot with his own
gun and died from the wound. He is not the Robert Ellis, who died 1924
in Franklin County or the Robert Ellis, died 1936 in Simpson County. Have
had no luck on finding anything about him despite the effort of Jo Thiessen.
Some one out there must know something about his death or have knowledge
of any Ellis's in Scott County around that time or where any Ellis's may
be buried. Any census records for 1920 and 1930? Thank
you.

John H. Morrison listed on 1820 Scott County, Kentucky census as head of
household of 31 free white males of sixteen and under twenty-six years of
age. All 31 persons were shown to be engaged in Agriculture. I
believe John H. Morrison relocated to Yazoo County, Mississippi as he appears
on the 1830 census for that county. Any information on John H. Morrison
will be greatly appreciated.

Elizbeth
Jones Barkley was my ggrandmother. Her obituary appeared in the 1900
local newspaper of Carlyle, Illinois. Elizabeth Jones was born in Georgetown,
Scott County, Kentucky on October 27, 1821. She was united in marriage
with James Barkley on October 7, 1841 in her native town. To this union
five children were born, three daughters; Sarah, wife of Edwin Fink; Lina
and LaLee; two sons, May and Guy Carleton Barkley. All of the children
are living in this city, except, LaLee, who died April 11, 1866. Deceased
removed with her husband to St. Louis in 1857, where they resided until 1859,
when they moved to Weston, Platt County, Missouri. In 1860 the family
removed to Carlyle, where deceased has resided continuously until her demise
- - the remains were conveyed to the Carlyle Cemetery, where they were tenderly
laid to rest. Her mother was Sarah Sinclair Jones, born 1797 in Tennessee.
Any information would be appreciated.

Searching
for Larkin Craig, who was not the son of Toliver Craig, nor as far as I know
any relation to that famous Craig family. My Larkin Craig was the son
to Thomas Craig, a Revoultionary War veteran and Feances Brown. They
came from either North or South Carolina and resided for a while in Scott
County, Kentucky before moving on to Illinois about 1828. Larkin married
the daughter of another Scott County resident, Carter Keel. They ended
up in Montgomery County, Illinois.

Elizabeth
Jane Manning, was born in Kentucky in 1827. Her family must have been
in Texas prior to 1847 for Elizabeth married in Dallas. The John Manning
in the 1800, 1810 & 1820 census for Scott COunty could be her father?
Is there another Manning researcher out there that knows which Manning
line went to Texas prior to 1847? Any information, hint or clue would
be appreciated.
