In the name of God Amen, I Elizabeth S. Crawford of Scott County, Ky, do make my last will and testament as follows:

I direct that my two negro boys, Daniel age 18 years and Peter age 17 years to each be set free and emancipated at my death.

I give and bequeath all the remainder of my estate to Tyson Bell to him and his heirs forever.

I hearby appoint said Tyson Bell executor of this will with the special request he shall be allowed to qualify as such without giving
surety, having utmost confidence in his integrity

Witness under my hand and seal this 19th day of May 1848

T. S. Craig the subscribing witnessess thereto and ordered to be recorded.

(NOTE: Elizabeth died of cholera a year later. Tyson Bell is the Tyson Beall;
mentioned in the 1814 Maryland will of Elizabeth's father, John Sutton Crawford.
Tyson was an orphaned Beall relation raised by the Crawford's and thus an adoptive
brother to Elizabeth. He died 1880 in Scott County.)
