In the name of God Amen, I Ann Thompson being at this time in a tolerable state of health and of sound and disposing state of mind and memory do by these presents make and
ordain this my last will and testament.
Item -  give and bequeath unto my son Rodes Thompson my negro man named Jim to him and his heirs forever.
Item - I give and bequeath to each of my sons (to wit) Wm. Thompson, Clifton, Asa and John Thompson the sum of fifty pounds current money of Kentucky to them and their heirs
respectively forever and do desire my executors hereafter named to pay to each of them or each of their lawful representatives soon after my deceased as the money can be collected.
Item - I give and bequeath unto my son David Thompson my two old negroes named Pompey and Judey to him and his heirs forever.
Item - After all my just debts and funeral are paid, I give and bequeath unto my daughter Ann Waller, Mary Wigglesworth, Unity Smith, Elizabeth Rodes and Lydia Ferguson all the rest
and  residue of my estate of whatever kind or description it may be to them and their heirs forever to  be equally divided among them.
And, lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my son-in-law Rodes Smith and my son David Thompson executors of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other wills by me
heretofore made.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 12th day of June in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred and ninety eight.

This will was this day produced in court by the executors therein named and proved by the oaths of Thompson Wigglesworth and Nelson Smith two of the witnesses thereto and
ordered to be recorded and the said executors having taken the oath required by law and entered into bond with Rodes Thompson their security certificate is granted them in
due form.
