I, Amanda J. Glass, being of sound mind and memory make this my last will and testament, hereby revoking any and all wills by me heretofore made. First, I will that all my just debts and funeral expenses be first paid. Second, I have a farm in Scott County, Ky upon which I now reside containing ninety-five (95) acres of land. This tract of land I give to my half brother, D. P. Ewing in trust for the following uses and purposes to-wit. He shall as Trustee manage and control said land and after paying all taxes, necessary repairs to keep the property up and any other reasonable expenses including Trustee, commissioners, pay annually the net income from said land to my grandson, B. C. G. Darnell during the term of his natural life and upon his death said trust shall terminate and his heirs shall take said land, per stripes, in fee simple and if he should leave no heirs of his body at the time of his death, then an in that event my executor hereinafter appointed shall sell and convey said land either at public or private sale and divide the proceeds as follows to-wit: One third to my half brother, D. P. Ewing if living and if he should die before the death of my grandson will take his one third; One third to those who are the heirs at law of my deceased full brother Jno... R. Ewing at the time of the death of said grandson and the remaining third to those who are the heirs at law of my full sister Mollie E. Amhurst, decd... at the time of the death of my grandson. Said Trustee shall have the right to sell and convey said land and reinvest the proceeds in other lands and likewise sell and convey and reinvest as often as he deems best, Said Trustee will permit A. F. Darnell the father of my said grandson to have a home on said land as long as he remains unmarried. Third, I have two fifths (2/5) undivided interest subject to the life estate of Mrs. Rebecca C. Ewing, widow of Jas. M. Ewing in thirty eight acres (38) of land in Scott County, KY One fifth (1/5) of which comes to me from my father, Jas... M. Ewing, dec'd and One fifty (1/5) of which I purchased from my brother Jas W. Ewing the executor of my father is authorized to sell said land upon the death of the said Rebecca C. Ewing by the will of said Jas. M. Ewing. Out of the proceeds of said sale my executor will pare One Hundred (100) each to the five children of my deceased husband, Belfield Glass, and in cased of the death of any or all of said five children he will pay said sum of $100.00 to the lawful heirs of each decedent at the time of the death of said Rebecca C. Ewing. The names of the said five children of my husband are as follows: Mary Elizabeth Sharp, Nash A. Glass, now deceased, John W. Glass, now deceased, Susan A. Thompson, now deceased, and George B. Glass. The balance of the proceeds of said two fifths of 38 acres, I give to my said grandson, B.C.G.Darnell. Fourth, I give to my grandson B.C.G. Darnell my organ and bedding. Fifth, I give to Allie Jones, the colored girl living with me $50.00 providing she is living at the time of my death. Sixth, I wish all my personal estate sold by my Executor and any debts due me collected by him from the proceeds of same. I want all my just debts and funeral expenses and cost of administration paid and whatever, if any, surplus shall go to my said grandson, B.C.G. Darnell and if said proceeds are not sufficient to pay sum, then the residence given my grandson out of the proceeds of the sale of two fifths interest in the 38 acres of land shall be used for that purpose. Seventh, I appoint my half brother, D. P. Ewing, Executor of this will and Trustee of said B. C. G. Darnell and direct that he qualify without bond or security for either, and in case he fails or refuses to qualify or having qualified dies or resigns, then I appoint the Farmers Bank and Trust Company of Georgetown, my executor and trustee of said B. C. G. Darnell with all the powers given to said D. P. Ewing as Executor and Trustee. Witness my hand this 21st day of February 1908 Amanda J. Glass
