Located near Clay City in Powell Co.

United with Boone's Creek Assn. in 1882 with 9 members, namely: James A. Fox and wife Mrs. Eva Fox; Judge Curtis Maston and wife Mrs. Nancy Maston; Benjamin Burgher and wife Mrs. Elizabeth Burgher; Miss Mollie E. Burgher and Rev. Shelby Todd

Rev. J.J. Edwards was instrumental in gathering; he served as the first pastor.

House dedicated May 30, 1886, free of debt. Rev. J. Dallas Simmons preached the dedicatory sermon.

There were ten pastors that served, Rev. J.T. Turpin longer than any other.

There were 82 members in 1899 and 186 in 1907.

In 1908 a series of meetings by Rev. Turpin resulted in 53 additions.

In 1909 a series of meetings resulted in 35 additions.

After revision of the roll, there were 240 members.
