In a deed dated Aug 7, 1825, Richard Morton to Robert V. Bush and Flavel Vivion, trustees for one acre (deed bk. 21 p. 184) is found.
The church was received into Boone's Creek Assn. in 1825, reporting 26 members. The messengers in 1825 were Richard Morton, R.N. Bush, E. Holliday and W. Webb. In 1829 the church reported 178 members.
The church cast her vote to abolish the constitution of Boone's Creek Assn., the majority of her members having become aherents of the doctirne taught by Alexander Campbell. |
