This church entered into Boone's Creek Assn. at the first meetng of the Assn. in 1823. Her messengers were Isaac Sterns and John Manion.
The Boone's Creek Assn. met with Hinds Creek Church in 1829.
Hinds Creek Church stood true to the Baptists and voted to retain the constitution. The troublesome times of 1828-30, when the battle was on between the Baptists and Reformers.
Hinds Creek Church never reported more than 33 members, whe appears for the last time in the records of Boone's Creek Assn. in 1831. |
