I am seeking my ancestor, George Miller who is believed to have lived near Lancaster prior to 
1780. I do not know what resources may exist to help with a search, such as tax lists or land 
records. The area eventually became Lincoln and later, Garrard.  His wife was Elizabeth----. The 
family, including 11 sons eventually moved to what became Adair County. I am trying to prove his 
service with Capt. Joseph Bowman in the Revolutionary War, who was then living near Harrodsburg.
