INTRODUCTION


The following pages contain several original documents from Joshua R. Wheeler who was born near Blaine in the Mouth-of-Hood in Lawrence County, KY, in 1823. He died in Pomeroyton, Menifee Co. 1913.

These documents include a letter written by Charles Pack (also of Lawrence Co.) to Joshua in 1862. It is missing 1/2 page but describes some of his troup's movements and names some men also in his company (Co.G, 14th Kentucky Infantry).
